Fruits of sea-buckthorn contain a lot of
different biologically active ingredients – vitamins C and E and natural
antioxidants such as carotinoids and phenols. Natural organic acids like malic
acid, ascorbic acid, oxalic acid and succinic acid impede growth of
microorganisms. Also natural pigments B2 and provitamin A increase a
nutritional value of the product. Significant agents in stabilizing of
consistence of the juice are natural pectins. Therefore it is not necessary to add any chemicals to prolong consumption
time of the product.
We advise to keep the Sea-buckthorn Nectar in
cooler or fridge to create optimal conditions for preserving of biologically
active ingredients and to avoid development of microorganisms.
Vitamin C (ascorbic
acid) – natural
antioxidant being important to activate immune system. It is vital for synthesis
of conjunctive tissues and to enhance absorption of iron.
Provitamin A (beta carotene) – necessary for normal sight, skin and healthy
mucuous membrane, and to stimulate growth. It has high importance in
prophylaxis of malignant tumour along with vitamins of C, P and B groups.
Vitamin E (tocopherol) – an antioxidant
soluble in fat. Important for normal pregnancy course. Prevents developing of
atherosclerosis. Significant in precluding of ageing and preserving of juvenility.
(phylloquinone) – necessary for coagulation of blood
and to maintain normal density and growth of bones.
Vitamins of the group B:
B1 (thiamine) – important for functioning of brain and
nerves. Indispensable for woman during pregnancy and breastfeeding period.
B2 (riboflavin) – vital for healthy skin and renewal
of body tissues.
B6 (pyridoxine) – necessary for synthesis of haemoglobin.
B8 (inositol) – needed for normal functioning of neural
acid) – along with
vitamin B12 vital for formation of erythrocytes.
B12 (cyanocobalamin) – participates in formation of
erythrocytes and neural fibres. Produced in small amount by gut microflora.
Vitamin P (bioflavonoid) – increases activity of a vitamin C. Significant
for strengthening walls of blood-vessels.
Vitamin F (unsaturated
fatty acid) – great
importance in forming of normal immune reaction and conducting of normal inflammatory
process. Anti-cancer effect especially typical for Omega-6. Omega-7 and Omega-9
increases sensitivity of cells towards insulin and prevents the formation of
atherosclerosis and diabetes mellitus of second type.
Tannins (compounds of polyphenols with a drying,
astringent taste) – characteristic with resolvent and antibacterial effect.
Organic acids – important
as products of several compounds
with medical, flavour enhancing and supplementing qualities. Participates in processes increasing
Succinic acid – reduces toxic impact of
antibiotics and teratogenic substances. Reduces
influence of hazardous X-radiation.
Oleanolic acid – expands the heart and brain blood-vessels,
tones up the body for active work.
Ursolic acid – protective
effect versus inflammation and its various ramifications.
Coumarines – strong spasmolytic,
resolvent, anti-oedematous effect.
Oxycoumarine – prevents forming of thrombus in
Pectins – stimulates digestion and
intestinal functions, facilitates detoxification of a body, binding heavy
metals. They show anti-inflammatory and ulcer healing activities.
Mineral substances – normalize saline metabolism, influences
zymotic and hormonal processes, they regulate functioning of neural system and
Kalium (potassium) – necessary for muscle contractions
and to ensure function of the heart.
Calcium – stimulates action of the heart. Typical
with anti-inflammatory and anti-allergic effect.
Magnesium – slackens blood-vessels of hearth. Important
for functioning of nerves and muscles.
Ferrum (iron) – goes into the content of haemoglobin.
Manganese – activates several systems of
enzymes. Significantly influences growth, hematogenic organs and sexual development.
Cuprum (copper) – participates in several biochemical processes
as an activator and in forming of haemoglobin.
Zinc – important for growth and in healing
of wounds; goes into the content of insulin.
Chromium (chrome) – takes part in a regulation of
Selenium – necessary for anti-cancer
prophylaxis. Especially active as anti-oxidant in a combination with vitamins
A, B6, C and E as well as zinc.
